Intolerant

Formed by the members of two genre-defining bands, Intolerant’s music is a mixture of traditional thrash metal combined with borrowed elements from death, stoner metal, hardcore and even classic rock ‘n’ roll. Currently doing the rounds in the local underground music circuit after releasing a five-song EP mid-2007, the band has been playing for numerous crowds in and out of Manila.

Featuring Skychurch vocalist/bassist Russell dela Cruz (who now plays guitar, and still screams and growls), Skychurch guitarist Joey Dizon on lead guitar and former Loss of Control members Mic Gallegos and Pepo Gohu (on bass and drums respectively), Intolerant is dead-set in the process of making heavy metal even more creative, and open-minded– without abandoning the speed and brutality factor.

Separate your thoughts from your anxiety
In doubt a man can never learn the reasons for self-purity
In the midst of your less violent phase
Darkness reigns inside
Intoxicating every principle we shared

Tell me why
Why did you do this to yourself
Tell me how
I never thought you could do this to anyone

In my silence I whisper things to you
So you will know now what this world will do
Your fate will hold you firm
Let your love be your guide
Stand strong and never break
As hand and hand we'll stand as one

Back into those days
Life was so simple
We never wanted more
That’s for sure
The war inside of you
Is tearing you apart

Break loose of the chains that’s holding you down
Feel the love that you never found
Look at yourself and try to realize
The truth that made you change your life
Now to demise

Why did you, step down?
(You Shift)

Why did you leave us all alone?
